Top 10 Posts of 2024!

December 30th, 2024 by Joseph Temple

Interesting diverse selection of topics this year that made our Top 10 hits. Pleased that a food article on those outstanding lunches available at Milos restaurant topped the List followed at #2 by an Austro-Hungarian theme dinner.

Surprised that your scribe’s Blog on September 16th about the New York controversial Resy restaurant reservation system and seven dining tips on popular hot spots like Penny didn’t crack your top ten. Check it out if you are New York bound.

Wine articles, often verticals, filled out the remaining eight slots with a nice regional variety of three Bordeaux, two Burgundy, one Italy, one Napa Valley in California, and one Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.

Other special wine tastings I found particularly insightful that didn’t make it included two verticals of Vosne-Romanee Les Chaumes from Meo-Camuzet and Sergio Zingarelli Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, plus the 9 vineyard horizontal of Barbaresco Riserva 2009 from Produttori del Barbaresco.

We will try to keep this all going for 2025.

Happy New Year to everyone – especially all my loyal followers on this excellent International Wine & Food Society website.

The object of the Society is to bring together and serve all who believe that a right understanding of good food and wine is an essential part of personal contentment and health and that an intelligent approach to the pleasures and problems of the table offers far greater rewards than the mere satisfaction of appetite.
