Question: What is the difference between the wine grape varieties of Albarino and Alvarinho?
Answer: Basically the same green skin white grape variety grown in two countries using two different names. In Galicia Spain especially in Rias Baixas it is ALBARINO but in northern Portugal it goes by the name of ALVARINHO.
