- 2007 Patrick Lesec Châteauneuf-du-Pape Pierres Dorées – France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (2/2/2016)
Popped and poured. Very different than the first bottle a few years ago. This has opened up and is ready to go. The fruit is sweet, but not very complex. It’s mostly red fruits with a bit of herb. The finish is somewhat short. The wine is not very tannic, making it very approachable. I think this has another 5-7 years before it starts to go over. (89 points)
